My first sprinkler experience about baby first swimming lesson and went over pretty well. My daughter was unsure about the water at first but was really enjoying it towards the end. As summer has drawn to a close I decided that maybe my baby was ready to try out swimming in a pool.
We were invited over to a relative’s house to go swimming in their pool and I was excited to see how my baby would react to the water since she enjoys bath time so much. I made sure to put on her Little Swimmer diaper and her Grandma bought a Body Glove Float Suit. My baby looked so cute all dressed up for the pool!
I just wish I had remembered to apply more sunscreen because she had a little sunburn on her face when we got home. At least I know she was able to make plenty of Vitamin D- did you know that we have a Vitamin D deficiency in this country because people are afraid of a little sunshine? Anyway…we all had a great time at the pool, and my baby adjusted to the water pretty well.
By the way, if you plan to take your baby swimming to make sure to apply plenty of sunscreens and keep a close eye on them at all times. If you haven’t read How to teach your child to swim yourself post, then I suggest you check it out too. How did your baby take to water or swimming in the pool?
