A good diet mainly depends on the following factors:

Eating healthy food is a part of good health. We need six nutrients for our body every day. They are carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, mineral, and water.
Carbohydrate: Flour, rice, etc, are the cheapest and the best source of carbohydrates.
Select foods that are low in both sugar and highly refined carbohydrates. We should eat whole grains such as whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, brown rice.
Fat: Fat is the richest source of energy. How much fat you need mainly depends on your age and body weight. It’s the main cause of heart problems. So, it must be taken within limits.
Protein: Besides carbohydrate and fat, we need a good amount of proteins (milk, egg, chicken). We should choose lean meat, beans, and tofu for our protein content. Low-fat dairy products. Skim milk and reduced fat cheeses will reduce our fat intake while ensuring that we receive enough calcium.
Avoiding skim milk or fat-free yogurt is one of the simple ways to eat fewer calories without having to not more change in our diet.
Vitamins and minerals: Food like fruits, vegetables, and grains, include peanut butter, nuts, and yogurt. Salads and fibrous food are really important too. These are the main source of vitamin and minerals. We should choose whole fruits and freshly-squeezed juices.
It is a good practice of eating a variety of different whole foods instead of eating processed foods. Choose and eat fruits and vegetables for their high vitamin and mineral content. You can also take a multivitamin to ensure that you are taking in adequate vitamins and minerals.
Pure fresh water: Water makes up 60% of our body. Taking insufficient water can lead to dehydration, a situation that occurs when you don’t have much water in your body to perform normal activities.
2. Do some good exercise daily:
Regular exercise is the best way to lose weight and gain muscle. Frequent and routine good exercise every day will boost our immune system.
Overweight people have an increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and a few other illnesses. Regular exercising reduces all these problems.
A 30-40 minutes walking would really help a normal individual. It helps to burn up the extra calories that we eat. Most of the people start working out but don’t really stick to it. They end up failing.
Following are the good ways that can help you to stick with your regular good exercise:
- Choose an exercise or sports that you really enjoy and is easy for you;
- Select a comfortable time for exercising;
- Select a partner of exercising so that you do not bored;
- Never quit. It may take a few weeks to see the result. Don’t get discouraged;
